				"Shadows of Steel"

Based on a book by Dale Brown

Scenario created by Doug Panic

The Scenario l have created is based on a Book by Dale Brown called "Shawdows of steel". It was a very interesting book and once l finished reading it l started thinking about this scenario. This .Txt Document will give you a brief outline on what l was trying to accomplish when creating this test. Basically what is happening is that Iran has come back from the dead and will no longer submit to being a 3 world Power so they have started on a little campaign to regain their status in the Gulf. With a bit of help from foreign countries who are allied with Iran, they have managed to build up a decent fighting force within the Gulf and now it is their turn to strike. The Iranian Navy is a major threat to the other Gulf states and Iran has vowed to block all traffic leaving and coming into the Gulf, hence cutting off oil supplies all over the worldThe U.S, upon realising what Iran is trying to do has decided to step in and put a holt to their actions but in a very covert sort of way. The U.S has sent in a B2 Spirit to act as an eyes and ears in the air and should not be use under any circumstances as an attack platform. It is to make it's way up from D.G and provide recon for the blue force on the where abouts of the Iranian Navy. Once it has found it, it is to remain on station until the end of the campain, hence the single tanker used to refuel it (Thats if you need it). The U.S does not want to get involved directly so it has left all the fighting to the other Arab states. The allied aircraft supplied from Saudia Arabia, Kuwait should then be used to destroy any Iranian targets of opportunity with priority going to the scud sites, airfields and Iranian Carrier. Be warned, the B2 is very important, you lose it and the entire campaign has failed.
Iran will be on a purely defensive posture so don't expect too many attacks from them. The U.S CVBG that l've included is only there as a precautionary measure. I've purposely placed it too far away to do any real damage but if you can get her up there, by al means use her.
As this is my first try at creating a scenario l would appreciate any comments you might have. Please e-mail me on the address below.

Thank you.
